The Duchess of Cornwall rarely puts a foot wrong when it comes to selecting elegant and stylish outfits for her many royal engagements, and her latest frock was no different.

Camilla, 70, stepped out in a fun floral dress as she arrived in Wales with her husband the Prince of Wales on Monday, to visit a bridge being renamed in his honour to mark his 70th birthday.

The duchess looked effortlessly chic as she made the most of the summertime in the floral-print dress, which stopped just below the knee. She completed the ensemble with a sensible pair of nude-coloured court shoes and accessorised with her trademark piece of jewellery: a pearl necklace.

The royal couple travelled to see the Prince of Wales Bridge that spans the River Severn between England and Wales. The bridge is the main gateway to south Wales and was, until now, called the Second Severn Crossing.

Charles and Camilla will spend the week in Wales, exploring various aspects of business, farming and heritage businesses in the cities and countryside as they highlight the rural and urban communities that make up the nation.

On Tuesday, the royal couple will host an evening of music at Llwynywermod, the Welsh farmhouse near Llandovery, where they will be staying for a few days. And later in the week, Charles will put on a garden party that will celebrate another milestone – the 70th birthday of the publicly-funded U.K.-wide National Health Service.

Last week, Camilla looked sensational in purple as she attended an event for the Royal Society of Literature in London on Wednesday, ditching her usual overcoat for a light shirt and skirt to combat the warm weather.

Camilla cut a stylish figure in the purple top-and-skirt combo, which featured an eye-catching pattern and was cut just above the knee. She completed the ensemble with a sensible pair of nude-coloured court shoes and accessorised with simple silver jewellery.
