Sarah Ferguson stuns in extravagant high-neck gown

She’s known for her bold wardrobe choices the Duchess of York has pulled off an eye-popping look once more.

Sarah Ferguson had heads turning as she walked the red carpet at the ‘Brilliant Is Beautiful’ gala held at Claridge’s Hotel in London last week.

The event benefited the Artist for Peace and Justice Global Education Fund, which provides scholarships for women across the globe.

The royal opted for a striking gown for the occasion, donning a fitted black satin dress with a beaded upper that covered her shoulders and neck.

Having chosen such an extravagant gown, the Duchess opted for minimal makeup and had her trademark red hair styled in a small bouffant hair-do.

She accessorised the dress with a modern black watch, a black clutch and some drop down pearl earrings.

Ferguson wasn’t the only famous face at the gala, with the likes of Liz Hurley and Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsea Davy also making an appearance.

Despite Davy no longer having a presence in the royal family, it seems she and Ferguson are still close, with the pair seen chatting together throughout the night.
