Amal and George Clooney are known to be close friends with Prince Harry and Meghan, but now the couple have charmed another member of the royal family as they enjoyed a very glamorous dinner with Prince Charles.
The pair stepped out for a luxurious dinner at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday alongside the Prince of Wales, who was hosting the reception for his youth charity The Prince’s Trust.
The dinner was attended by donors, supporters and ambassadors of the organisation, which works to help vulnerable people get their lives on track.
This evening The Prince of Wales hosted a dinner at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the work of The Prince’s Trust Group and thank its supporters. At the event HRH met with Prince’s Trust Ambassadors and supporters including Amal and George Clooney, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, @thereallukeevans and @tamsinegertonofficial. The charities within the Group include The Prince’s Trust International, The Prince’s Trust Canada, The Prince’s Trust Australia and The Prince’s Trust New Zealand, all of which were founded by The Prince of Wales and work to expand the successful work of @princestrust beyond the UK. 📸 PA
For the occasion, Amal looked absolutely flawless in a flowing white gown with intricate draping detail and an asymmetrical cape sleeve on her right arm.
With her brunette locks styled in soft waves, Amal stood out in the strapless gown which she paired with a metallic clutch and diamond earrings.
Meanwhile, George was dapper in a traditional, single-breasted tuxedo. The Ocean’s Eleven actor has called the UK home since tying the knot with the high-profile lawyer in 2014.
Other celebrities in attendance included actors Chiwetel Ejiofor, Luke Evans, Tamsin Egerton, Josh Hartnett and Benedict Cumberbatch.
This isn’t the first royal event Amal and George have attended. They attended Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding last May, and reportedly hosted them at their holiday home on Lake Como last year.
More recently, Amal was seen in New York City for Meghan’s star-studded baby shower last month. The high-profile lawyer wore a crimson silk jumpsuit for the occasion, which she paired with gold pumps and a stylish black jacket.
Amal joined an array of guests at the lavish baby shower, including Serena Williams, Meghan’s former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, close friend Jessica Mulroney and makeup artist Daniel Martin, who did Meghan’s stunning natural makeup on her wedding day.
According to HELLO!, the intimate event took place in the penthouse of The Mark Hotel, which reportedly costs US$75,000 a night (AU $104,750), and spans two floors and has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two powder rooms.
