She’s jetted to the UK in hopes of confronting her half sister Meghan about their ageing father, but Samantha Markle has wasted no time in stirring up royal trouble as she launched a furious attack on the media after landing in England.
The Duchess of Sussex and her sibling have had a strained relationship for years, made worse when Samantha publicly slammed Prince Harry’s wife ahead of their wedding earlier this year.
However, according to her representative, she is now hoping to speak to Meghan about her father Thomas’ ailing health – following “numerous discreet attempts” to allegedly contact her sister.
While the 53-year-old, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, has planned a series of TV appearances in the UK this week, she first took to Twitter to slam tabloid media reports about her father – insisting he is a “sweetheart” and just “shy”.
She began by confirming her arrival in the UK by writing on the social media site: “Having a wonderful time in London! British people have been so lovely and helpful! If I can survive the roundabouts it will be a miracle LOL!”
However she followed it with a message defending her 74-year-old father, who famously pulled out of walking Meghan down the aisle just days before the royal wedding after suffering health issues.
“I guarantee that 99% of you if you could meet my dad he would love him and want to give them a big hug he is a sweetheart and might be a little shy but he has a huge heart so it is very wrong to misinterpret him,” she wrote.

Meghan has always maintained a dignified silence in regard to the family drama, following the lead of the royal family and keeping her lips sealed when it comes to private matters.
Meanwhile, it comes after Samantha’s representative Rob Cooper revealed recently that he was heading to London with his client for the ‘confrontation’.
Saying Prince Harry’s wife had left them no other option, Cooper wrote on Twitter: “Samantha Markle is coming to the UK. After making numerous attempts in private to arrange a one on one meeting with The Duchess of Sussex to discuss their 74 year old father’s health, Kensington Palace have refused to respond.

“I fear Meghan may not be made aware of these discreet attempts and therefore making this public is the only option we have left. I currently have Samantha in Europe with just one short flight away.
“This DOESN’T need to be public, we would prefer to keep this private. Samantha is coming to the UK this week, like it or not.”
Earlier this month Samantha hit out at her half sister and her brother in law Prince Harry, slamming the royal couple for not reaching out to Meghan’s dad on his birthday.
“Happy Birthday Harry! As you ‘Mack down’ on your birthday cake, think about the birthday wishes you never extended to your FATHER-IN-LAW.” she wrote on Twitter. “The DUCHASS should be humane to our father who has given her everything and this media crap can stop!
“He was the one who was always there for her. Fake waves and smiles can stop. The duchASS can bow to the daddy.”
