Planning a wedding can be difficult and it’s fair to say that Prince Harry and bride-to-be Meghan Markle have a pretty big task when it comes to who they’re inviting to their wedding.

They’ve already made headlines by banishing US president Trump from their nuptials, but it looks like some family members are also going to miss out. A report published exclusively in The Sun suggests that Sarah Ferguson will not be invited to the wedding.

It is believed that 600 people will be in attendance to watch Prince Harry officially welcome his American fiancée into the royal family, but Harry’s aunty Sarah won’t be one of them.

“The Duchess of York is not invited to Harry’s wedding,” the royal insider explained to The Sun. “The invites are being sent out this week and she’s not on the list. Fergie has been told to keep a low profile before Eugene’s wedding and not to go on talk shows or give interviews about the royal family. She’s not happy about it.”

The source claims that Prince Harry is “adamant” that Sarah won’t be attending, while another friend suggested that the family doesn’t trust the 58-year-old not to reveal details about the ceremony to the press. She wasn’t at Prince William’s wedding to Catherine in 2011.

Thankfully, Fergie’s own daughter Eugenie is also getting married this year and has her own wedding to plan. The 27-year-old announced earlier this year that she would be marrying long-time partner Jack Brooksbank. The pair will actually be getting married in the same chapel as Prince Harry and Meghan, although their ceremony will take place some months after.

The Duke of York said on Twitter. “The marriage of Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank will take place on 12th October 2018.

“As previously announced, the wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.”

Sarah appears to be beside herself at the thought of her daughter getting hitched. She recently wrote a tribute to her daughter and future son-in-law in celebrity magazine Hello!. In that message, she explained that the couple brought a smile to the face of everyone they met.

“You both exude kindness, love and goodness. You have beautiful manners and go the extra mile to all who meet you,” she wrote. She also expressed her delight of the wedding with a series of Twitter posts, where she shared happy photos of her daughter and inspirational quotes.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle will walk down the aisle on May 19 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

What do you think? Is it fair for Sarah Ferguson to miss out on the wedding, or should she get an invite?
