It’s been more than a month since Princess Eugenie’s fairytale wedding to Jack Brooksbank at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle melted hearts all around the globe and the young royal has now returned to work.

Breaking her social media silence for one of the first times since she got married, the 28-year-old updated royalists and her fans of her latest work project. Taking to her personal Instagram page, the daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, explained the latest work of The Anti-Slavery Collective.

The organisation – which was founded by Eugenie and her best friend Julia de Boinville – campaigns and raises awareness for modern slavery as a global epidemic. It encourages law enforcement agencies, policy makers, journalists, academics, NGO’s, companies, individuals, and survivors to collaborate and share ideas on how human trafficking can be tackled.

Along with Julia, Anti-Slavery Collective Advisor Ross Warren and others, Eugenie stood front and centre and beamed with delight in a photo shared online. She wore her luscious locks in curls and opted for a smart power suit. She also announced that the organisation had teamed up with a number of businesses to launch a series dedicated to fighting human trafficking.

“Very pleased to announce @the_anti_slavery_collective will be partnering with @C5.accelerate, @mccaininstitute and ScottPrenn to launch a series dedicated to creating meaningful and measurable change in the fight against human trafficking,” she wrote.

“It was an honour to be a part of the first #TechTacklesTrafficking event as part of a speaker series on the issue of Modern Day Slavery. In our first event, I moderated a panel, interviewing the great Caroline Haughey QC and Kevin Bales on their work combatting human trafficking.”

Fans were quick to praise the newly-married royal on the positive change she was making.

One wrote: “Love this cause. Eugenie looking adorable as always. You are such an asset to the Monarchy.”

Another comment read: “Congrats @princesseugenie on a wonderful new initiative, with some excellent partners.”

A third added: “And that is why you are my favourite royal..soo genuine and passionate for standing up in what u believe in [sic].”

Meanwhile, proud mum Sarah Ferguson liked the photo her daughter posted on Instagram. Eugenie’s announcement comes just days after she and husband attended the 70th birthday of Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
