‘So proud’: Sarah Ferguson gushes about Princess Eugenie’s lavish wedding

Sarah Ferguson has shared a series of photos congratulating her daughter Princess Eugenie on her wedding to Jack Brooksbank. The Duchess of York gushed she was “so proud of Eugenie and Jack” after the lavish ceremony that saw 850 A-listers flock to Windsor.

The doting mother, 59,  took to social media on Monday to share a series of photos from the big day, including the newlyweds leaving the church after the wedding.

She shared a second black-and-white image of the happy couple, with the caption: “Andrew and I are proud to welcome Jack to the York family.” The Duchess later uploaded a stunning shot of Prince Andrew and Eugenie, and wrote: “So proud of Eugenie.”

Royal supporters were quick to comment, with one writing: “So beautiful!! Biggest congratulations to the whole family.” Another added: “Such a beautiful wedding and a gorgeous bride. Congratulations to your family.”

Fergie also thanked the designer of her dress — that she wore at her daughter’s wedding reception last Friday — and uploaded a photo of herself in a stunning silk green floor-length gown, which cinched in at the waist. Fergie added a coordinating green statement necklace and wore her trademark fiery hair in a pretty half-up, half down style.

It comes after Kensington Palace announced that Meghan is pregnant. It’s the first child for both Meghan and Harry, who married in a spectacular wedding ceremony at St George’s Chapel in May.

The royal family said the baby is due in spring, 2019, but didn’t confirm the exact month or due date.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” a statement from the Palace said.
