Queen Maxima channels 70s boho glam in floaty maxi dress

She’s known for showing off her incredible style at almost every public engagement she attends, and Queen Maxima’s latest outfit choice didn’t disappoint. This week she stepped out in a chic boho-style dress which nipped her in at the waist for a night at the theatre with her husband, King Willem-Alexander.

The mother-of-three, 49, looked stylish as she posed for photos on the red carpet on Wednesday night in the floaty maxi dress which was embroidered with colourful stitching and featured bell-bottom sleeves. Queen Maxima accessorised with a matching scarf and black stiletto heels, while she wore her blonde locks out straight. She carried a small black clutch and wore minimal jewellery. Meanwhile, her husband, 53, wore a navy-blue suit matched with a white dress shirt and light blue tie.

It’s been a busy week for the Dutch queen. On Tuesday, the 49-year-old sported a bright yellow pantsuit as she cycled to visit The Hague Art Museum, which recently reopened following the coronavirus crisis.

The mother-of-three was all smiles in the vibrant ensemble, which included a loose-fitting long sleeve top and matching straight-leg pants pulled together with a simple nude belt. Queen Maxima accessorised with nude ballet flats and yellow hoops earrings, and an assortment of bracelets and rings, while she wore her blonde locks out straight. The royal finished off the look with a camouflage print clutch.

In one image, the royal can be seen admiring some artwork, while in another snap, the queen smiled broadly at bystanders as she made her way through the city to the museum.

The Argentinian-born royal is known for her great fashion sense, always stepping out in glamorous ensembles. Last week, Queen Maxima sported a beige-coloured dress which she paired with a chunky belt and suede stilettos to attend a hospital in the Netherlands.
