Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank celebrated their 10th anniversary on Friday, and the Queen’s granddaughter marked the special occasion by sharing a series of sweet photographs on social media.

Eugenie shared two loved-up snaps of herself and tequila ambassador Jack, 34, which appear to have been taken in the grounds of the couple’s home, Ivy Cottage, as they self isolate due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The first image shows the couple, dressed similarly in casual checked shirts, smiling widely at the camera, while the second snap shows them staring lovingly at one another.

The couple met in the luxury Swiss ski resort of Verbier in 2010 and Jack popped the question eight years later in Nicaragua. They tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle in October 2018.

“Jack and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary today… and we are lucky enough to be together at this time,” the 30-year-old royal wrote on Instagram.

Eugenie also asked other couples who may be celebrating anniversaries of their own this week to send her images and messages, which she will then share on her own Instagram page.

She added: “If anyone has an anniversary this week, if you are together or not because of this challenging time, if you are a frontline worker wishing to tell your person you love them, then please do send me a photo and message via DM [direct message] of how you are celebrating and I will share your messages on my story over the next few days.”

Many people commented on the post and wished the couple a happy anniversary. One wrote: “Happy 10th anniversary to you. Wonderful, it is a beautiful initiative.”

Another commented: “Happy Anniversary to Your Royal Highness & Jack. Sending love, support and good energies xxx.” While another said: “Congratulations to you both. Wishing you so much happiness and joy!”

Eugenie’s special day comes just weeks after her elder sister Princess Beatrice was forced to call off her May wedding to fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York was set to wed the property tycoon at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace in London on May 29 with a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II to follow at Buckingham Palace. However, those plans won’t be happening anytime soon.

“There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding. They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time,” a spokesperson for the couple told People. “There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”
