Blooming royal tributes and the royals who blossomed: The Chelsea Flower Show 2023

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show certainly knows how to throw an extravagant event, pulling in celebs and royals alike to bear witness to the blooming exhibits.

Amongst the number of breathtaking displays, a blossoming tribute emerged with regal magnificence, paying homage to the newly crowned King Charles III.

???? Today The King and Queen met local gardeners and gardening groups in Newtownabbey who have been involved in creating the new space.

As well as the stunning Coronation Garden, another garden acting as “a secluded space for contemplation” was created to honour the King as well.

“The RHS Garden of Royal Reflection and Celebration at #RHSChelsea was created by Dave Green to celebrate His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation,” the RHS said in a tweet.

“The purple & blue planting reflects the King’s preferences, while the pinks & whites are a nod to the late Queen Elizabeth II.”

Keen gardeners themselves, King Charles and Queen Camilla stopped by the show to smell the roses.

The King wandered through the exhibits looking dashing in a navy suit with Camilla, who bloomed as gorgeously as the flowers in a mid-length navy dress covered in stemmed flowers and signature hairdo.

Other members of the Royal family were also in attendance to both see the tributes to the new Monarch and immerse themselves in the stunning exhibits.

The Princess of Wales stepped out looking as fresh as the pink peonies in a button-down mid-length dress, detailed with dark pink pleats with her hair cascading down her back.

Sharing to social media, Princess Catherine enjoyed a picnic where she got to meet “the next generation of nature-lovers”.

“Picnic season is upon us, and so is @the_rhs #ChelseaFlowerShow!,” the Princess wrote on Instagram.

“What a lovely lunchtime spent with the next generation of nature-lovers, exploring the gardens and enjoying the first ever Children’s Picnic here at Chelsea.”

Amelia and Eliza Spencer were also in attendance, as well as Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
