Crown Princess Mary has offered her heartfelt Christmas wishes to the world in the form of her annual personal Christmas card, released through the Mary Foundation.
Wrapped up in a coat and shawl on a snow filled street, the smiling Australian born Princess looked back on the year that passed in the touching festive message.
“Time is a special dimension. The more years you have covered, the faster the next year seems to go by. At the same time, over time you become more and more aware of how valuable every moment – and every year – is,” she said.
“The transition to the new year is always an opportunity to stop and appreciate everything that has happened during the year.
“Now Christmas is at the door. At the Mary Foundation, we will soon close 2023 and go on Christmas break with gratitude for all that we humans can do when we do it together. We need each other if we want to succeed. With the warmest wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”.

Royal fans from near and far thanked Mary for her Christmas message while praising her for her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
“Thank you very much for the light you spread,” one fan wrote.
“I admire you and wish you all the best in the world, because you deserve it. She is a woman, wife and mother with capital letters.”
“Merry Christmas to all the family. And a fantastic New Year,” commented another.
“Thank you for Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary Foundation’s work to promote the quality of life for our children and young and adults.”
Mary warmed the hearts of royal enthusiasts worldwide previously when she joined her family to usher in the holiday season by sharing a delightful Christmas family video, leaving fans overjoyed and eager to catch a glimpse into the royal festivities.
The video, posted on the official royal social media accounts, captured the essence of a truly magical Christmas at the Amalienborg Palace.

As the video begins, Princess Mary hands her eldest son, 18-year-old Prince Christian, a special ornament.
Twelve-year-old Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine hold red candles, and 16-year-old Princess Isabella adds more to the tree. With a warm smile, Prince Frederik places ornaments on the tree.
Next, Mary crouches down, pointing out a charming ornament with one of the family’s border collies beside her.
Prince Frederik and Prince Christian then move the ladder to the other side of the tree where they hang red baubles at the top, with Mary holding the container gracefully, and Prince Vincent passing them to his brother and father.
“Christmas greetings from the Crown Prince family, who recently decorated the family Christmas tree in the Hall of Knights in Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg,” the family wrote alongside the festive video.
