Princess Catherine is still delighting royal enthusiasts after sharing a new photograph to celebrate Prince George’s 11th birthday.

In the black and white image the young royal is shown sitting and smiling at the camera, dressed in an open-necked white shirt and dark blazer.

The shot was captured by his mother at Windsor earlier in July.

“Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!” the caption alongside the image read.

Royal fans wasted no time in sending their best wishes to George on his birthday, with many marvelling at how quickly the future king is growing up.

“Happy 11th Birthday to our beloved Prince George. I can’t believe you’re already 11! I swear it feels like it was just yesterday I was waiting for your arrival,” one wrote.

“Happy Birthday Prince George!!! I can’t believe how big he’s gotten!!!”

“Prince George looks so much like his Dad,” commented another.

“Happy birthday to Prince George. He’s growing up really fast.”

The days leading up to Prince George’s birthday have been jam-packed with exciting events. Most recently he travelled with his father to Berlin to support England in the Euro 2024 final.

The prince and his nine-year-old sister, Princess Charlotte, also joined William at a Taylor Swift concert at Wembley Stadium at the end of June to celebrate their father’s 42nd birthday.

Also in June George appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Royal Family to celebrate the King’s official birthday.

George’s latest portrait and birthday celebrations come shortly after the Royal Family celebrated Queen Camilla’s 77th birthday on Wednesday, July 17.

Prince William and Princess Catherine extended their heartfelt birthday wishes to Queen Camilla on social media, posting a portrait of the Queen, captured by Catherine, which previously graced the cover of a special commemorative edition of Country Life magazine two years ago in which the Queen served as guest-editor in honour of her 75th birthday.
