As the rift within the Royal Family continues to widen, Prince Harry finds himself distanced not only from his brother, Prince William, but also from the pivotal role he was once destined to play alongside the future King.

Royal reporter Charles Rae, speaking exclusively to The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, shed light on the significant shift in dynamics between the two brothers.

“They were really, really close. And this is what makes it so sad that they’re now so far apart,” he said.

Rae further elaborated on his observations, highlighting the role that Harry was once presumed to take on within William’s inner circle.

“When William becomes King, I always believed Harry would be one of his top advisers,” he explained.

“I think that’s out of the window.”

The absence of Harry from this anticipated role not only signifies a personal loss for the brothers but also represents a departure from the vision that Princess Diana, the mother of the two princes, held dear.

“That’s what Diana always wanted, the boys to remain as close as possible, they had each other, and it was them against the rest of the world but of course now it’s not happening,” Rae said.

The rift between the brothers has been a subject of intense public scrutiny, with various incidents and disagreements surfacing over the years. From Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back from royal duties to their subsequent revelations about their struggles within the institution, tensions have only escalated.

Although tensions continue to simmer, Prince Harry’s anticipated visit to the United Kingdom in May carries with it a hope for the mending of fences and returning to the harmonious dynamic he once shared with the Royal Family.

According to insiders speaking to The Mirror, Harry’s top priority upon touching down on British soil will be rekindling the bond with his father, King Charles.

“Harry’s priority when he comes to England is to see his dad. He is pretty focused on this,” the source revealed.

Harry is reportedly determined to set aside any lingering animosity in favour of rebuilding bridges.

“It will be his first port of call when he comes off the plane, to try and spend as much time with King Charles so that they can build bridges and enjoy each other’s company like before,” the insider continued.

As the rift between the two brothers deepens, Prince Harry losing out on a crucial role alongside Prince William speaks volumes to the major changes taking place within the Royal Family.
