The Royal Family has once again delighted their devoted fans across the globe after they released the official portrait in celebration of Prince George’s 10th birthday.

In the official portrait, shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the young royal is sitting on the steps of the Windsor family estate. He looks all grown up, wearing a checkered blue shirt and teal pants with a smile from ear to ear.

“10 today! Wishing Prince George a very happy birthday!” the caption read.

Royal fans were quick to draw comparisons between Prince George and his father, Prince William, as the resemblance between the two royals appeared uncanny.

“Happy Birthday to Prince George! He looks just like his dad now,” one fan wrote.

“Happy birthday not so little Prince! Time flies!”

“Happy Birthday Prince George. You’re now growing up very fast to a very handsome and good boy just like your father. Wishing you the day full of joy and happiness!”

“He looks so grown up now and so much like his dad, happy 10th birthday Prince George! I wish you all the best and I hope you will have a great day and a wonderful new year! We all love you,” commented another.

“Prince George is so much like his father. A fine young man. Happy 10th birthday to Prince George. I hope mum makes you a lovely cake and that you have a special day.”

As the young royal celebrates double digits, Royal expert Katie Nicholl revealed how the future King is expected to celebrate his birthday.

“I’m told that this birthday party will be family, of course, close friends, friends from his old school, [and] friends from George’s new school, but it’s not going to be showy in any way,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

“A lavish party, where there’s a huge expense, is just not William and Kate’s style.

“[Kate Middleton] still always bakes the cake, she will be doing a tea party, I’m told there’s going to be something of a football theme involved in the celebrations.”
