Larry Emdur, the beloved host of The Chase Australia, recently celebrated the show’s eighth anniversary on Instagram, marking a milestone for the beloved game show that has captivated viewers nationwide.

For eight years, The Chase has challenged contestants with brain-teasing questions, strategic decisions, and thrilling chases. The show, which has become a fixture of Australian television, is known for its engaging format and the formidable knowledge of its “Chaser” opponents.

Emdur took to social media to share his excitement about the show’s longevity. On his Instagram account, the popular television personality posted a heartfelt message along with a snapshot of himself alongside the formidable Chasers.

“Huge hugs and hi 5’s to this sexy bunch and their beautiful minds,” he wrote alongside the photo.

“The Chase Australia has just turned 8 years old and it’s an absolute honour to be the new kid on the block. Thank you Chasers, Channel 7 and the incredible production team for letting me join the party.

“Thanks everyone for watching and our yummy ratings, here’s cheers to 8 more years and 1 million more words I can’t pronounce. Missing from this calendar pic The Beast and The Governess coz we’re never all in the same place at the same time.”

The post quickly garnered attention from fans and fellow celebrities alike, who flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages and expressions of gratitude for the show’s entertainment value.

Fellow media personality Grant Denyer was among the first to congratulate Emdur and The Chase team for their impressive milestone,

Emdur celebrated another television milestone recently after The Morning Show marked an impressive 16 years on the air and The Chase took the top spot in the ratings for its timeslot for two consecutive days.

“THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!, I LOVE YOU’s ALL. Thanks so much for watching. This week the little baby show that Kylie and I gave birth to (that’s a cool visual) turned sweet 16,” Emdur wrote in a post to Instagram.

“The Morning Show has won the ratings every year since we launched in 2007 !!!! that means we never had to go back to our old job of ploughing fields. AND that other newborn baby The Chase has been the Number 1 entertainment show in Australia again for the last two nights, beating all the big prime-timers!

“Congrats to all The Chase team and The Chasers and of course to my favourite morning co-pilot @kyliegillies and our awesome @morningshowon7 family.

“Of course we are nothing, nada, zilch, zip, diddly squat without YOU our viewers, so thanks for turning us on (Don’t do a sex joke Laz, take the high road. Stay Classy.”

Emdur has gone from strength to strength with the success of his television career, in addition to The Chase taking top spot in the ratings it has also screened to an incredible 567,000 viewers across five-city metro rankings and reached a total audience of 829,000.
