Amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ongoing feud with the Royal Family, the impact such conflict has on the younger members of the Royal Family is often overlooked.

However, according to recent reports, the possible repercussions of her stand-off with the Royal Family for her children are beginning to weigh heavy.

Royal author Tom Quinn, in an exclusive interview with the Mirror, offered insight into Meghan’s fears regarding her children’s separation from their father’s UK-based family.

Despite her efforts to forge a new path away from the royal spotlight, her worries about her children’s connections with their cousins, George, Charlotte, and Louis, has been a source of concern.

“She is also really worried that her children will have no real relationship of any kind with their cousins George, Charlotte and Louis – Meghan loves the idea of having a big happy family and hates it when people describe her childhood and her family as dysfunctional,” Quinn explained.

“She’s terrified history is going to repeat itself.”

Quinn recounted insights from a friend within the Sussexes’ inner circle, revealing Meghan’s yearning for certain aspects of her former life on British soil.

“A friend of the couple – one of Meghan’s few aristocratic friends from her time in the UK – told me Meghan does miss some aspects of life in the UK and worries that her children will blame her if they never get to see their cousins and feel as adults that they have been deprived of what might have been a fun and meaningful existence in the UK as working royals,” he revealed.

Despite Meghan’s concerns for her children, the Duchess reportedly rejected an olive branch from Prince William and Princess Catherine that would have seen Archie and Liliebt reconnect with their cousins across the pond.

According to recent reports, William and Catherine offered an invitation to Harry and Meghan, inviting them to bring their children to the UK to meet their cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, in hopes of fostering a closer family bond despite the distance.

However, according to Quinn, the offer was not welcomed with open arms by Meghan.

“William and Kate have suggested that Meghan and Harry bring their children and that the two couples and their families try to make up, but the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far,” Quinn recently told The Mirror.

“There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK.”

In addition, previous reports from fellow royal author Omid Scobie have indicated that Meghan has no desire to return to the UK, given her refusal to “dive back into the soap opera”.
