Larry Emdur wishes his ‘omnifabulous’ mum a happy 80th birthday in touching message

Television personality Larry Emdur has celebrated his mum’s 80th birthday with a heartfelt message to mark the milestone occasion.

Emdur took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 29 to wish Faye, “the best mother since mothers were invented”, a happy birthday alongside a series of photos of the loving pair.

“This is my mum Faye and I promised I wouldn’t say she turns 80 today,” he wrote.

“My mum is and always has been SUNSHINE, LOVE, WARMTH, HAPPINESS and our Commander in Chief. Her chicken soup can cure anything from acne to a broken heart, her hugs can warm up the coldest day and her smile is omnipresent and omnifabulous.

“I love you mum and so does pretty much anyone who’s ever met you, happy happy birthday, thanks for being the best mother since mothers were invented.”

Fans and close friends flocked to the comments section of Emdur’s touching post to deliver their birthday messages to Faye.

Emdur’s Morning Show co-host Kylie Gillies was among the first to offer her best wishes.

“Hip hip hooray Faye. Happiest of birthdays to you,” Gillies wrote.

Grant Denyer’s wife, Cheryl, also wished the “beautiful Faye” a happy birthday while encouraging Emdur to spoil his mum on her special day.

“We ADORE you! Hope Larry spoils you rotten and surprises you with that Lamborghini he’s been saying he would for so long now,” she wrote.

“Your mother is beautiful and doesn’t look a day older than 50. And she raised a gentleman in you. Wishing her many more happy returns. God bless,” one fan shared.

“Ohh Larry, only a beautiful mother could be responsible for the beautiful man you are. Happy 80th birthday Faye.”

“Happy birthday Faye – she had to be one very good egg to raise you,” said another.

Emdur has never been one to shy away from publicly sharing his affections for those close to him, in December 2022 he delivered a heartwarming message to his wife in celebration of their 28th wedding anniversary.

The Morning Show co-host took to Instagram to share a loved-up snap of him and his wife Sylvie alongside a caption where he professed his love for his partner.
