Glamorous Joan Collins beams as she celebrates 17th wedding anniversary

She is currently touring the UK with her one-woman show ‘Unscripted’, but Joan Collins made sure she had time to celebrate her 17th wedding anniversary with husband Percy Gibson.

For the momentous occasion, the loved-up couple threw a glamorous party at Claridge’s – the same venue where they tied the knot in 2002 – in London on Sunday night, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The beauty icon, 85, was pictured looking fabulous as she stepped out in a dazzling floor-length gown, finishing off the eye-catching look with a pair of statement earrings with her brunette locks worn out in soft waves.

It’s a rare day that Joan is seen without her signature colourful pout, and the iconic star added a pop of colour with a red lip. Never one to upstage his wife, Percy, 54, wore a simple grey suit teamed with a blue dress shirt for the occasion.

At one point, the beloved couple were snapped blowing out candles after they were presented with a gorgeous two-tiered cake.

British actress Elizabeth Hurley posted two photographs of the happy couple on Twitter on Tuesday, writing: “Congratulations @joancollinsdbe for a fab performance at the Palladium and on your 17th wedding anniversary to the divine Percy.”

And the former Dynasty actress posted her own heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Sharing a gorgeous throwback snap from their wedding day, Joan wrote: “Celebrating 17 wonderful fun-filled happy years today! #happyanniversary and #congratulations to my #hubby!”

Fans were quick to congratulate the couple on the milestone, with one writing: “You both look beautiful, happy anniversary!”

Another added: “What a lovely photograph, you both look amazing and so happy.”

While a third wrote: “You both look so happy together. Congratulations!”

Last year, in an exclusive chat with HELLO! magazine Joan gave an insight into the success of her 17-year marriage to her fifth husband.

“I think the secret to a happy marriage is to really support each other,” she told the publication. “Understand that there will be highs and lows. You won’t always agree about everything, but you need to enjoy each other’s company. Percy is such an amazing man, he is so kind and so caring.”

Meanwhile, she is known to be one of the most glamorous women in Hollywood and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

The actress was recently pictured looking fabulous as she stepped out to attend a star-studded fashion event in London on Monday. This time, Joan dazzled in a multi-coloured sequinned midi dress and cropped leather jacket, which she paired with pointed black suede boots, leather gloves and a matching clutch.
