Looking for other ways to use products around your home to clean your troublesome household areas? After all, soap scum and limescale can build up many areas that are difficult for us to get to.
Sammy, who often shares her tips on TikTok, uploaded a video to the site and showed how she uses a dishwashing tablet to clean her toilet.
She told her viewers to drop a tablet into the toilet basin, then pour in hot water from a recently boiled kettle.
Then she said to give the toilet a good scrub with a scrubbing brush and “watch the limescale disappear.”
Viewers were impressed with her tip and were thankful for the advice, however, others pointed out that boiling water could crack a toilet basin.
If in doubt, you can use warm water from the tap.
