When it comes to red carpet fashion there is no denying that Jamie Lee Curtis knows precisely what styles flatter her figure the most, and the actress knocked it out of the park once again last night as she stepped out in Venice, Italy.
The 62-year-old, who is the daughter of Hollywood icons Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, stepped out on Wednesday evening for the premiere of her new movie Halloween Kills during the 78th Venice International Film Festival. Halloween Kills is the 12th instalment of the Halloween franchise, with Jamie appearing in seven over the years.
Jamie looked full of confidence as she posed on the red carpet in a red leopard-print plunging gown. The gown was the perfect fit for the actress, tucking in at the waist, before flowing to the floor. The dress also featured a cheeky leg split at the front.
Jamie finished off the look with black pointed heels and accessorised with minimal jewellery, while she wore her beautiful grey hair in its signature cropped hairstyle. She even coordinated with a matching mask!
Jamie’s outing comes just a month after she revealed her youngest child is transgender. The actress made the revelation in an exclusive tell-all with AARP The Magazine.
In the interview, Jamie said her 25-year-old daughter, who was previously known as Thomas, has transitioned from male to female. Curtis said that she and her husband Christopher Guest “have watched in wonder and pride as our son became our daughter Ruby”.
The True Lies actress also revealed that Ruby, who’s a computer gaming editor, is planning to get married next year, saying: “And she and her fiancé will get married next year at a wedding that I will officiate.”
Jamie and Christopher are also parents to Annie, 34, who tied the knot in 2019 and works as a dance instructor. And while Jamie doesn’t currently have any grandchildren, she told the American publication that her and her husband “do hope to” in the near future.
