Sophie Wessex made a bold statement in blue as she joined a host of royals and stars in the royal box at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
The Countess of Wessex won in the style stakes in a bright blue dress by high-end designer Peter Pilotto which featured a striking floral pattern. The mother-of-two, 54, teamed the ensemble with a stunning blue clutch and trendy white wedges.
Wearing her blonde locks in her signature style — pulled back into a loose chignon — Sophie looked effortlessly glamorous for the occasion.
But Sophie wasn’t the only royal in attendance — the countess was joined by Prince Albert of Monaco, the son of Grace Kelly in the royal box. The pair were pictured laughing and chatting together as they cheered on tennis stars Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
Meanwhile, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Catherine’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton also headed out to watch day nine of the annual tennis tournament.
Showing her thrifty side once again, Camilla – a regular face at Wimbledon – recycled a stunning white Fiona Clare dress, which she wore to Prince Louis’ christening back in July 2018, coupling the v-necked frock with tan heels, a pearl necklace and casual-style bag.
Although Catherine was supporting her husband Prince William as he and Prince Harry took part in a charity polo match, her parents were pictured at Wimbledon, for the second time in a week.
For the event, Carole looked elegant in a stylish £169 (AU$303) Scotch and Soda printed emerald green wrap dress, which she teamed with a small nude bag, and a pair of tan heels. Adding large sunglasses and a stylish panama hat, she appeared completely relaxed and a far cry from her more formal appearances with the royal family.
Carole’s visit comes just a week after she stepped out in gorgeous summery white dress to attend day three of the annual tennis tournament.
Showing off a glowing tan at the time, the 64-year-old wore a gorgeous shift dress by luxury womenswear brand Goat, one of Catherine’s favourite labels, which she teamed with a stunning nude bag by Osprey London and a matching pair of nude block heels.
