Dame Helen Mirren perfected winter fashion on Wednesday as she stepped out in New York for the L’Oreal Paris 14th Annual Women of Worth Awards.

The 74-year-old actress, who is a L’Oreal brand ambassador, was one of a host of famous faces in attendance at the event, alongside supermodel Andie McDowell, actress Viola Davis, singer Camila Cabello and actress Amber Heard.

Helen looked sensational dressed all in white for the star-studded event as she paired a simple yet elegant knitted jumper with a stylish draped skirt in a shade of brilliant white. She finished the look with an oversized knitted shawl in a slightly darker tone, which featured dramatic slouch batwing sleeves and fell to her ankles.

The Good Liar star completed her elegant ensemble with a pair of sky-high pastel pink stilettos and she carried a small white box clutch bag – but it was her classic pearls that made the look, as she wore a statement multi-strand pearl necklace as well as a matching chunky bracelet.

The Catherine the Great star wore her cropped white hair in a stylish bob that framed her face perfectly and kept her make-up simple with a subtle hint of blush on her cheeks and a coat of vibrant pink lipstick.

Helen posed alongside a host of other female icons on the red carpet including The Help actress Viola Davis, Aquaman star Amber Heard and singing sensation Camila Cabello. Also in attendance was supermodel Andie McDowell, 61, who looked incredible in a navy blue maxi dress.

Nominations for the Women of Worth awards opened back in April and 10 winners were selected based on the difference they have made in their local communities. The selected honourees each receive $10,000 to support a charitable cause of their choice, with one woman then named ‘National Honoree’ and given an additional $25,000.

Helen’s appearance at the event is the screen icon’s latest in a series of high profile outings in recent weeks. Just last month the British star sent fans into a frenzy when she stepped out in one of her most elaborate looks to date for the premiere of her latest movie The Good Liar in New York.

She looked incredible in the vibrant yellow floor-length gown as she posed on the red carpet alongside a number of her co-stars, including Sir Ian McKellen who takes on the role of Mirren’s love-interest in the film.

Helen stood out from her male counterparts in the stunning dress, which featured a plunging V neckline, cinched waist and long sleeves. But it was the gown’s long train that commanded the most attention as it trailed elegantly along the floor behind her as she walked the carpet.

A statement usually reserved for brides, the train appeared to be detachable from the dress, as a knee-high split could be seen running up the back of the figure hugging dress, revealing a pair of matching yellow stiletto heels beneath the skirt. It wasn’t just her shoes that Helen matched either though as the star’s clutch bag also stuck to the bright colour theme.
