English actress Celia Imrie turned heads as she walked the carpet at the Old Vic Bicentenary Ball in London on Sunday night.

Oozing glamour, the Calendar Girls star, 65, wore an elegant red, fitted dress, which showed off her figure perfectly. The standout dress, which pinched in at the waist, featured an elegant sweet-heart neckline.

She completed the outfit with statement jewellery, choosing a chunky silver necklace. Celia paired the stunning ensemble with matching black velvet pumps, stockings and a clutch. The actress opted for a simple hairstyle and kept her makeup to a minimum for the occasion.

And the ever so stylish actress is no stranger to the red carpet. In February, Celia turned heads in a clinging black lace dress at the British Academy Film Awards. While it pinched in at the waist, the floor-length number then flowed out in a fishtail, making the actress stand out as she posed alongside her fellow celebrities.

Celia, described as “one of the most succesful British actresses of recent decades” is best known for her roles in Bridget Jone’s Diary (2001), Calendar Girls (2003) and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2012).

However, she’s perhaps best known for her frequent collaborations with Victoria Wood, who passed away two years ago. They both appeared in TV programs such as the sitcom Dinnerladies and sketch show Victoria Wood As Seen On TV.

The actress recently starred in Finding Your Feet playing Imelda Staunton’s sister in the film, which is about finding your feet later in life.

Earlier this year, in a very frank interview with BBC Celia weighed in on living life to the fullest. I’m just grabbing life, every second and every challenge. None of us knows how long we’ve got,” she said.

“I’m not being dramatic but I’m not stupid either and time’s running out a bit.”

Do you like her style? Is it her best yet?
