The Duchess of Cornwall’s official royal duties usually include charitable causes or special events, however her latest outing showed a different side of Camilla as she made her debut at London Fashion Week on Tuesday.

Stepping out in stylish monochrome, Camilla sat front row during the Bethany Williams show, before taking to the stage to deliver a speech and presenting the young designer with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II award for British Design.

The 71-year-old duchess looked elegant in a classic black shift dress with long sleeves, which featured thick white stripes around the skirt, a simple pair of black heeled court shoes and her signature four-strand pearl necklace.

Camilla handed the annual accolade to Williams, whose 100% sustainable collection was made using newspaper and recycled denim in collaboration with a women’s shelter in Liverpool, UK.

Her Majesty made a surprise appearance at London Fashion Week in 2018 to present designer Richard Quinn with the prestigious award, delighting royal fans around the world as she took her seat in the front row next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

In photos shared by the British royal family on their official social media accounts, the 92-year-old monarch can be seen beaming with delight as she congratulated Quinn on stage last February.

The Queen upped her own fashion game for the event, wearing her usual two-piece ensemble, but this time her pale blue wool tweed dress and jacket were embellished with aquamarine Swarovski crystals. She stuck to her signature black gloves, however, completing the outfit with her signature handbag in patent black and matching black court shoes.

Do you think Camilla looks nice? Would you wear something like this?
