Bruce Springsteen and wife look smoking hot on red carpet

Bruce Springsteen stepped out with wife Patti Scialfa for the 2018 Tony Awards on Sunday night and the pair had all eyes on them.

Scialfa, 64, turned heads in a chic white dress for the occasion, while 68-year-old Springsteen looked handsome in an all black tux. The fitted frock also had a thigh-high split on one side of the gown, complementing her slender figure.

The singer completed the ensemble with a pair of black heels, a feathered black clutch and a pair of silver dangling earrings. She wore her auburn locks out in soft waves and opted for simple makeup for the event.

The couple’s children, Evan, 27, Sam, 24, and Jessica, 26, joined their parents on the red carpet.

During the awards show, Springsteen was honoured with a Special Tony Award for his highly lauded one-man show Springsteen on Broadway, which has had a sold-out run. The rocker’s show, which has grossed $55 million at the box office, was structured around excerpts from his 2017 memoir, Born to Run and sees the star performing an acoustic set complete with tales about his life.

Fellow singer Billy Joel took the stage to present Springsteen with the special award in front of the star-studded crowd, which included Robert Di Nero and Josh Groban.

“Thank you. This is deeply appreciated and thanks for making me feel so welcome on your block. Being a part of the Broadway community’s been a great thrill and an honour for me,” Springsteen said in his acceptance speech, Hollywood Reporter reported.

“It’s been one of the most exciting things I’ve probably ever experienced. I’ve got to thank Patti Scialfa, my beautiful wife and artistic partner, for her love and inspiration every night.”

Springsteen and Scialfa celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on Friday. Scialfa took to Instagram to share the exciting news with a stunning image of white roses.

The pair married in 1991, when Scialfa was 37-years-old and Springsteen was 41, after dating for about four years. They had met years earlier when Scialfa joined Springsteen’s E Street Band as a singer. While the two were close friends, Springsteen was married to model Julianne Phillips at the time, and it was until the pair divorced that Scialfa and the rocker became an item.
