Starts at 60 Daily Joke: A man finds himself in trouble

A man finds himself in trouble. His business has gone bankrupt and he has lost all of his money. He’s so desperate that he decides to ask God for help. He goes into his local church and begins to pray.

“Oh God, please help me. I’ve lost my business and if I don’t find some money soon I’m going to lose my house as well. Please let me win the lottery.”

He walks home and that night he watches the lottery on his television but unfortunately he doesn’t win. He goes back to the church the next day and prays again.

“God, please let me win the lotto. I’ve lost my business, my house and I’m going to lose my car as well.”

He heads home and watches the lottery but still has no luck. He immediately heads back to the church and prays once more.

“Please, I’ve lost my business, my house, my car and soon my wife will leave me. I don’t ask for help very often and I’ve always been a good person. Why can’t you just let me win the lottery this one time so I can get my life in order?”

Suddenly there is a blinding flash of light as the sky parts open and the man is confronted by the voice of God.

“My son,” the voice booms. “You need to buy a lottery ticket first.”
