A man buys a pet parrot and brings him home. Once they settle in, the parrot starts throwing nasty insults at the man. Frustrated and offended at what the parrot is saying, the man picks it up and tosses it into the freezer to teach it a lesson.
He hears the bird squawking for a few minutes, before it suddenly goes quiet. The man opens the freezer door and the parrot walks out. It looks up at him and says, “I apologise for offending you, and I humbly ask your forgiveness.”
The man says, “Well, thank you. I forgive you.”
Looking slightly nervous, the parrot then says, “If you don’t mind my asking, what did the chicken do?”
