Yellowstone fans, the wait is almost over! November 13 will be here soon enough, with the promise that the show’s upcoming season will be super-sized.

But as Yellowstone fans patiently wait for season 5 to premiere later this year, Paramount Network has sensed the anticipation for the release and has started to tease the new episodes, making the countdown that much more nerve-racking and intriguing.

Ahead of its premiere, the show’s official Instagram page has posted a throwback clip of John Dutton( Kevin Coster) and Mo Brings Plenty alluding to the wait for season 5.

“You know, I got better things to do with my day,” the Dutton patriarch says in the snippet. “This is worth the wait, John,” Mo replies.

Quick to react to the message, Yellowstone fans immediately took to the comments section to express their excitement.

“There are very few shows that are considered Epic. This is one of them :),” one person wrote.

“Looking forward to Season 5!!♥️,” another added.

“Sure hope so. Can’t wait for the next season(s)! Yippi ki yah! Love your story,” commented another fan.

As if that wasn’t enough of a tease, the show had previously posted the first behind-the-scenes look at season 5, featuring a few of Yellowstone‘s core ensemble at the iconic Montana ranch.

Actors Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) and Forrie J. Smith (Lloyd Pierce) are spotted riding horses, while we hear the familiar voice of Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton)  say “Welcome to Yellowstone season five.” In the background, the famous helicopter flies before the clip cuts to black.

Despite being the show’s fifth season, the program continues to be a tremendous hit with fans.

The show’s season 4 finale, which aired in January 2022 had broken all the show’s previous rating records and became Yellowstone’s most-watched episode.

The Western drama has also become the most-watched on cable television since it launched in 2018- with its cast regularly being nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

The massive success of Yellowstone has also created multiple spinoffs, including 1883, which stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as James and Margaret Dutton, the great-great-grandparents of  John Dutton, (Costner), and tells the origin story of Yellowstone Dutton Ranch.

While the network has slowly given fans season 5 sneak-peeks, the official Yellowstone season 5 trailer is yet to be seen.
