They melted hearts all over the world when they shared their first kiss as husband and wife in front of 600 guests at St George’s Chapel in May and now Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have recreated the famous smooch.

The couple attended a charity polo match on Thursday to raise funds for kids living with HIV and Aids in Africa. While it’s not every day royalists see a royal couple sharing a snog in public, 36-year-old Meghan couldn’t wait to congratulate her husband as his Sentebale St Regis Polo team won against the Royal Salute 5-4.

In fact, Prince Harry scored two of the goals for the winning team. As he was working up a sweat during the match, Meghan watched on in the crowd. It was also a chance for the former actress to show off a new style.

Many royalists have noticed the Duchess of Sussex has opted for beige and white colours for many of her royal engagements. For the charity polo game, she opted for a chic 1950s-style dress that was bursting with colour.

The navy frock, said to be by designer Carolina Herrera, is worth £2,357 (AU$4,190, US$3,090). The gorgeous number was complete with a chunky belt of the same colour. Meanwhile, Meghan opted for a tan pair of heels and wore her luscious brunette locks in a stylish bun for the outing. She also carried a clutch purse during the event and was even spotted at one stage wearing a designer pair of sunglasses.

As always, she decided on a more natural make-up look for the event. Fashion aside, the day was also a big moment for Meghan to shine.

As Diana, Princess of Wales did before her, Meghan was given the task of presenting the polo trophy during the match.

Closer to Australia, Today Show host Georgie Gardner revealed just how lovely Prince Harry and Meghan were, explaining on Thursday’s episode of the show that they personally wrote her a letter, thanking her for her wedding gift.

Gardner, who was in the United Kingdom in May to cover the Royal wedding, told viewers that she gifted the couple a picnic rug. Months later, she received a letter of reply in the mail.

“Dear Georgie, we wanted to write and thank you so much for the incredibly thoughtful wedding gift,” the letter read. “We’re both delighted you would think of us during this special time and greatly appreciate your kindness.

“We apologise in the delay in getting this letter to you, but as you can hopefully understand, it has been a very busy time for us. Thank you again for your kind gift. We’re incredibly touched.”
