Pierce Brosnan might have been one of the main stars on the Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again blue carpet, but he ensured his wife was with him every step of the way as they shared a loving display alongside his co-stars.

The 65-year-old actor walked hand-in-hand with his glamorous other half Keely, taking inspiration from his former James Bond role in a smart suit and open-necked white shirt.

However, it was Keely, 54, who stole the spotlight from him in a tight-fitting light blue lace dress with large frilled sleeves. The short dress showed off her tanned legs and she towered in silver strappy heels as she posed alongside her spouse.

The couple, who have been married for 17 years, shared loving glances with each other as they stood arm-in-arm for photos, before sharing a laugh with Brosnan’s co-stars including Meryl Streep and Cher.

Keely wore her long brunette hair loose down her back and carried a small silver clutch bag for the star-studded bash, just days before the movie’s long-awaited release.

The couple first met in 1994 before marrying seven years later in Brosnan’s native Ireland. He tragically previously lost his first wife Cassandra Harris and daughter Charlotte to ovarian cancer. He shared sons Chris, 45, and Sean, 34, with his late wife.

Meanwhile, Brosnan joins co-stars Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard again in the new movie, as they star alongside the original cast along with a younger Donna, played by Lily James, and Donna’s mother, played by Cher.

The cast have made no secret of their delight at acting alongside Cher, and the pop icon recently admitted she was “terrified” when she stepped onto the set for the first time.

Speaking during a press conference, the Believe hitmaker – who plays Ruby Sheridan – said she felt “really nervous” about taking on the role because the existing cast members were already close.

“I was terrified! Because everyone had been together and also my character wasn’t very liked, by anybody. I was really nervous but all was great, and you [Amanda Seyfried] were adorable,” Cher exclaimed.

Do you like Keely’s outfit? Are you looking forward to seeing the movie?
