Liz Hurley makes bold statement in pink after denying she embarrasses son

Liz Hurley sparked debate when she managed to steal the spotlight from her son at his own birthday party recently, but she’s insisted he doesn’t get embarrassed by her racy outfits and sultry photos.

As if to prove her point, the actress and model, 52, made a very bold statement in a stunning bright pink dress as she attended the ‘Hot Pink’ breast cancer awareness party in New York this week.

Showing off her age-defying figure, Liz managed to once again ensure all eyes were on her in the figure-hugging floor-length gown, and added some statement diamond earrings to finish the glamorous look off.

Looking every inch the Queen Helena, her on-screen counterpart in The Royals, Liz even styled her hair in dramatic curls as she stopped to pose for photos alongside her fellow stars.

It comes after she shocked fans in a very low-cut sequinned dress, with her famous bosoms decidedly centre-stage, as she posed alongside son Damian for an Instagram photo on his 16th birthday.

But while many of Hurley’s Insta followers showered the pair with praise, commenting on how similar they look, others were shocked at her outfit choice, accusing her of steal all the attention on her son’s big day.

Asked about claims he was left “embarrassed” by the snaps however, Liz has now hit out at criticism and told The Telegraph’s Stella Magazine: “Absolute rubbish! He chooses clothes for me, he’s my stylist.”

She even went on to say Damian often takes her sexy Instagram photos, and added: “My son happens to be a very good photographer.”
