The Duchess of Cambridge wowed in a stunning blue ball gown as she stepped out for an elaborate State Banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.
Kate looked every bit the royal in the figure-hugging gown, which fitted in at the waist and then flared out elegantly just above the knee.
The mother-of-three certainly stood out for the crowd as she entered the palace alongside Rear Admiral Ludger Brummelaar to greet the visiting King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
Joining her husband Prince William, The Queen, the Prince of Wales and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, Kate glowed with the dress falling gracefully to the floor.
Designed by Alexander McQueen, the beautiful gown featured a special royal family order of the Queen, a badge with the sovereign’s portrait on a yellow ribbon.
Kate chose to pair the dress with some equally stunning jewellery, including a beautiful tiara that previously belonged to Princess Diana, as well as pearl earrings, a pearl necklace and a simple silver bracelet.
The royal opted for an up-do for the fancy evening event, and wore her brunette locks pinned back in a low bun.

The Queen looked equally as beautiful in a gorgeous floor-length white gown, white gloves and a silver tiara. The 92-year-old paired the outfit with a small white bag, which hung from her wrist, and a beaded silver necklace and bracelet.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cornwall looked stunning in an off-white gown, featuring long-sleeves and a slight slit at the top. Camilla also sported a silver tiara, bracelet and necklace, while she kept her blonde locks down in soft waves.
The British Monarch has had a busy few days, and was spotted enjoying a day out at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday for the QIPCO British Champions Day.
