It’s summer in England and for the royal family that means it’s time to kick up their heels, sip champagne and place a few bets at the Royal Ascot.
As is tradition, the royals have been out in force for the first two days of the annual horse race, with everyone from the Queen to the Countess of Wessex, the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie snapped smiling and chatting inside the exclusive royal enclosure.
On Wednesday, Camilla, 70, arrived at the event in a flattering mint green tailored coat with a striking white hat trimmed with floral cut outs. She completed the look with a pair of sensible beige court shoes, a snakeskin clutch and accessorised with her trademark piece of jewellery: a pearl necklace. Prince Charles, 70, was close by and looked dapper in a grey suit with a matching black top hat.
It’s not the first time Camilla has worn the eye-catching ensemble. She was previously pictured sporting the same coat at a Buckingham Palace garden party in honour of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday last month.

Like many who grew up in the post-WW2 era, Camilla appears to adhere to the idea of getting the most out of your garments – no matter how much money you might have. The duchess stepped out in a chic beige coat during a royal visit to Northern Ireland with Prince Charles last week, but eagle-eyed supporters realised that Camilla had worn this exact outfit before.
Camilla wore a flattering ivory frock decorated with black and white flowers and wrapped up against the cold and rain in a simple overcoat coat, which featured an intricate pearl trim around the collar and cuffs. She completed the look with a pair of practical beige court shoes and carried a clear plastic umbrella to shelter her carefully coiffed hair from the rain.
The duchess first wore the outfit on June 7 when she attended the Royal Cornwall Show, at The Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge.
