Is this the most elegant way to wear military green?

With the war the topic of many conversations lately, maybe that’s the inspiration for what Melania Trump wore while meeting Argentine President Mauricio Macri and his wife Juliana Awada.  Melania tweeted about the meeting, posting a photo from the day saying how they the couple at the WhiteHouse to further the partnership between the two countries.

A day after celebrating her 47th birthday the former model looked stunning in a designer military jacket and matching skirt, with a split up her thigh, as seen below.

The outfit was from the Altuzarra Spring 2017 runway collection and retails for US$2995 ($4010), just for the jacket. The skirt is US $1120 ($1500). According to Net-a-Porter the design, with python piping, was inspired by a jacket worn by Nicholas Cage in the movie Wild at Heart.

Juliana Awada, 43, was not outdone in the fashion stakes during their meeting in Washington DC. The First Lady of Argentina wore a stunning peplum dress with matching red shoes.
