Princess Eugenie has paid tribute to her dad Prince Andrew by sharing an unseen wedding photo of the two sharing a special father-daughter moment on her wedding day.

The 29-year-old took to social media on the United Kingdom’s Father’s Day on Sunday to thank her dad for his support over the years, while sharing a behind-the-scenes photo from her special day.

The young royal uploaded a photo of Andrew looking proudly at his youngest daughter as she showed off the entire back of her stunning wedding gown, while holding her arms up to embrace him.

“Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and of course to my Pups,” Eugenie wrote alongside the snap on Instagram. “Thank you for many years of happiness and for this special moment on 12th October 2018.”

Royals fans were quick to comment on the stunning shot with many reminiscing on the beautiful wedding between Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.

“The most beautiful photo on the internet today,” one person commented. “A father smiling on his little daughter’s wedding day is truly everything!”

“He looked like such a proud papa fussing with your wedding down and walking you down the aisle. Truly the royal wedding of the year,” another wrote.

While a third said: “You were so lovely on your wedding day. Love this family and love the loyalty they all have for each other.”

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also delighted fans with another sneak peak of their adorable baby boy Archie on the special day.

In the never-before-seen snap, little Archie could be seen staring right into the camera as he holds on gently to his father Harry’s finger who is cradling him lovingly.

The post was simply captioned: “Happy Father’s day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to the Duke of Sussex!”

It has been weeks since the public caught a glimpse of the little bub so when the latest snap was posted on the couple’s Instagram page, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. While most just wanted to wish the new dad a happy Father’s Day others commented on the striking similarities between Harry and Archie.

“To Prince Harry and his beautiful wife duchess Meghan, I love this picture of your cute son Archie and it is so sweet to see Archie holding his dad’s hand on his first Father’s Day,” one person commented.

“Happy Fathers Day Prince Harry! It’s a long awaited deserved day. Sending a huge grin from ear-to-ear for you,” another wrote.

While a third simply said: “Oh my heart! Happy Father’s Day Harry!”
