Lady Kitty Spencer is Princess Charlotte’s ‘twin’ in adorable throwback photo

Lady Kitty Spencer has been labelled Princess Charlotte’s ‘twin’ in an adorable throwback photo in celebration of her 29th birthday.

The niece of the beautiful Princess Diana took to social media this week to mark her special day with a photo of herself from her childhood. In the snap, shared on Kitty’s Instagram page, the model could be seen playing happily with her Barbie, with delicious treats surrounding her.

“Thank you for such beautiful and kind birthday messages today,” the post read. “I couldn’t have asked for a better day surrounded by the people I love.

“Thank you to everybody who made it the most special birthday I can remember (although this Barbie party looked pretty cool too!).”

And it didn’t take long for royal fans to notice to similarities to another member of the family.

The model was inundated with comments from people both wishing her well on her birthday, but also claiming she was the spitting image of the four-year-old daughter of her cousin Prince William.

“I thought it was Princess Charlotte,” @janinespotswood wrote on the post.

“This is Princess Charlotte’s twin,” @f_e_e_ commented.

“She resembles Princess Charlotte,” @ayumamaningi added.

This isn’t the first time fans have noticed the similarities between the two. Last month, Lady Kitty, whose father is the Princess of Wales’ brother Earl Spencer, uploaded a sweet childhood photograph to her social media account which sparked a flurry of comments from those who couldn’t believe how much she looked like Charlotte.

The cute photo showed a young Lady Kitty, dressed in full riding gear, sitting astride a white pony as she looks over her shoulder into the distance. The resemblance between Charlotte and Kitty is easy to see, thanks to their large eyes and light brown hair and it didn’t take long for people to point out the similarities between the pair.

One fan wrote: “You look exactly like Charlotte.” While another commented: “Like Charlotte Cambridge.” And a third said: “Gosh you look like Princess Charlotte here.”

Kitty shared the image in the lead up to tomorrow’s Melbourne Cup, which she will be attending, and captioned it: “Lexus Melbourne Cup here we come!! Channelling my inner jockey since 1992!”
