Just for her mum: Proud Fergie shares special snap for Eugenie’s 30th

Princess Eugenie turned 30 this week, and the royal family took to social media to mark the occasion — with mother Sarah Ferguson leading the charge, sharing a candid photo of her gorgeous daughter.

Fergie is no stranger to sharing sweet snaps of her daughters, but she chose Eugenie’s 30th birthday to share a never-seen-before photo from the princess’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank in 2018. The mother-of-two took to social media on Monday with a loving message for her youngest child, describing Eugenie as her “little magic dust”.

“My favourite photograph just for her mum on her wedding day … and my little girl is 30 today and Happy Birthday my little magic dust,” Fergie wrote alongside the snap.

In the photo, Eugenie could be seen smiling broadly in her wedding gown, wearing a silver and emerald tiara, her green eyes sparkling in the light.

Meanwhile, the royal family also shared a photo of the princess on Instagram showing Eugenie smiling happily alongside her grandmother, the Queen. The snap was taken last year when the now 30-year-old joined her grandmother at a Maundy Thursday Service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

“Wishing Princess Eugenie a very Happy Birthday!” the post read. “Her Royal Highness is the Queen’s 6th grandchild. Today she turns 30.”

It didn’t take long for royal fans to leave birthday wishes for the princess either.

“You should be so proud – beautiful girls you have,” @leonapfox wrote on Fergie’s Instagram post. “Beautiful wholesome natural girls, a credit to their grandma and family,” @healing_time_counselling said.
