She’s one of the few royal family members allowed to have her own social media account and on Saturday Princess Eugenie poked fun at her teen style choices in an adorable throwback photo of herself during an outing to church with big sister Princess Beatrice.
The sweet image shows the young princess and her older sister, aged 11 and 12 at the time, sporting very similar looks, with Eugenie in lime green and Beatrice in lilac, as well as nude court heels.
According to People magazine, the royal duo were celebrating their grandfather Prince Philip’s 80th birthday.
She captioned the post: “Bea and I are laughing hysterically after contemplating what on earth was in our handbags that day going to church… We quite clearly are loving our full lime green and lilac suits!! The shoes, the headbands… yes to the 90s.”
Many fans were quick to comment, with one writing: “Eugenie this is so cute! Like mini boss ladies.”
Another added: “Cute then, beautiful now!”
And a third wrote: “This is fantastic! Now I’m dying to know what was in your purse? Chapstick and gum?!”
It seems the sisters have since changed up their style choices, after Eugenie and Beatrice stepped out in two very different outfits earlier this year to attend an art show in London.
For the outing, Eugenie exuded glamour in a stunning pale pink and aqua frock, while Beatrice opted for a much darker colour scheme.
The young royal absolutely glowed in the long dress which featured a beautiful silver pattern alongside her beloved sibling. The frock is said to be worth around £1,900 ($3,498) and was designed by Peter Pilotto who famously created her wedding dress, according to The Daily Mail.
Standing tall in silver heels, Eugenie sported a big smile on her face as she posed for photos, her gorgeous brown locks styled in soft waves to her shoulders. The 29-year-old complimented the outfit beautifully with a swipe of blush on her cheeks and soft pink lip.
Meanwhile, Beatrice wowed crowds in a striking crimson dress which sat just above her knees. The 30-year-old paired this with a statement black jacket, which featured a dramatic fringed hem, gold flats and a green velvet handbag.
