Glitz and tassels! Sarah Ferguson turns heads in elegant full-length black dress

She’s been very busy over recent weeks on a series of public outings, but while Sarah Ferguson showed off a series of summery and chic looks on each of them – she blew them all away with a very glamorous outing on Friday night.

The Duchess of York, 59, looked a million dollars in a floor-length black dress with a sequinned upper half and dramatic tassels and fringing on the lower skirt.

She coupled the figure-hugging gown with a statement silver choker necklace and matching earrings, while carrying a glitzy silver and black clutch bag.

Ensuring she remained comfortable on the evening at luxury London hotel Claridges, Sarah chose her favourite mules for the outing and wore her hair loose in soft waves.

It was no doubt a welcome celebration after a busy week and the duchess has been keeping fans up to date with each of her outings on Instagram recently.

Just three days ago she supported the Children’s Air Ambulance at a fundraising event and shared a photo inside as she modelled a bright blue animal print dress.

“Enormously proud to be Patron, hosting lunch and helping with the auction which raised money to support the vital service,” she captioned the photo.

“We invested in our two new helicopters for days like Friday, when @childrensairamb attended two missions simultaneously across the country, transferring two severely ill children, when previously one would have been turned down.

“With no government support, @childrensairamb are reliant on voluntary donations to enable this essential life saving service to continue.”

And sticking with the animal print theme, she was the picture of elegance at the end of last month as she stepped out in a stunning green frock and a pair of quirky flats featuring a zebra print for the British Heart Foundation’s Bias and Biology panel in London.

With her red locks styled down and straight, Fergie looked beautiful against the red flower backdrop set up especially for the event at Mortimer House. Meanwhile, the mum kept things simple, accessorising with a simple gold necklace and bracelet.

The foundation’s event was held especially to raise awareness about the inequalities in women’s health care when it comes to heart disease.
