She never puts a foot wrong when it comes to her style choices on her official engagements as part of the Danish royal family, but Princess Mary has now debuted a stunning new look in a rare magazine photoshoot.
The Crown Princess of Denmark appears completely natural and at ease in front of the camera in a series of beautiful photos for IN magazine, showing off a range of outfits and styles.
In one dazzling snap, Mary models a full-length silver tasselled skirt as she stands with her arms folded and her head down, smiling slightly.
”Sammen med de generationer, der skal arve jorden efter os, skal vi beslutte os for, hvordan vi skaber en bæredygtig fremtid for planeten og de mennesker, der bor på den.” H.K.H. She couples the statement skirt with a loose white top and blazer, making it a classy and elegant look and in fitting with her usual royal style. Keeping her hair loose and wavy over her shoulders, Mary appears completely at ease.
Another photo in the same outfit shows a more natural side to the princess however, as she’s then seen laughing off at something in the background of the shot.
Making a quick change, Prince Frederik’s wife goes on to transform her look completely in a plunging black power suit.
Sitting down and once again laughing as she stares downwards, Mary effortlessly models the fitted jacket with a low-cut black top underneath.
The shoot also came with a stunning cover image focusing on the royal’s face, this time showing her opting for a brighter look in a pale blue jumper.
Holding her hand up under her chin and smiling into the distance, Mary proves the perfect model in the picture as she shows off her flawless complexion.
The photos, taken by photographer Franne Voigt, were part of Mary’s push to make the clothing industry more environmentally friendly.
“Together with the generations to inherit the earth after us, we must decide how to create a sustainable future for the planet and the people living on it,” she told the mag, according to the Danish royal family’s official Facebook page.
The photoshoot was released ahead of the Global Fashion Agenda, of which Mary is patron, which holds its annual summit – Copenhagen Fashion Summit – on May 15-16.
It comes just days after the princess once again proved the picture of elegance as she stepped out in a stunning navy ball gown to celebrate the 75th birthday of Queen Margrethe II’s sister Princess Benedikte.
Appearing hand in hand with her husband Crown Prince Frederik, Mary stole the show in the floor-length number, flashing just the right amount of skin thanks to the frock’s unusual one-shoulder design.
The Australian-born member of royalty completed her look with a small black clutch bag and a matching pair of diamond earrings and a bracelet. While her husband, who she shares four children with, coordinated with his glamorous wife in a navy suit, which featured black lapels, and a black bow tie.
