She is known for her glamorous sense of style and Melania Trump pulled out all the stops on Saturday as she attended the White House Congressional Ball alongside her husband President Donald Trump.
The First Lady beamed as she made her stylish entrance into the grand foyer of the White House to greet a crowd of American Democrats and Republicans at the annual event.
Melania, who has been married to Donald since 2005, was dressed to impress in a glistening white gown by designer Celine, which was covered in sequins and featured a high funnel neckline.
The 48-year-old, who is mum to 12-year-old Barron, let her dazzling dress do the talking, opting for minimal jewellery, including her wedding rings, and leaving her hair straight, falling down over her shoulders.

While Melania’s dress may have stolen the show, it was President Trump who took to the podium, describing the White House as his and Melania’s “happy place” and praising his own “very, very special” two years in office.
“It’s been an incredible two years,” he said. “It’s been very, very special.
“We’ve done things that nobody would have thought possible. No administration has done more in the first two years than the Trump administration.”
The Presidential couple were joined at the event by Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen, along with Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner.
Last week, it was revealed that Melania Trump’s reign as the most well-liked person in the White House had seemingly ground to a halt as figures showed that her approval rating has plummeted over the past two months, according to a new CNN poll.
The First Lady’s approval rating fell from 54 per cent in October to 34 per cent in December — a noticeable drop off for the former model who’s popularity with the public has varied throughout her husband’s time in office.

Despite the bad news, Melania stepped out on Thursday to spread her anti-bullying message on an annual Christmas visit to the Children’s National hospital in Washington. Melania didn’t disappoint in the style stakes dressed in an elegant pink striped coat which she matched with a white midi dress and pink shoes.
“MerryChristmas to all the patients at @Childrenshealth! Thank you to all the nurses, doctors & medical staffers who work around the clock to take care of people this holiday season,” she posted on Twitter.
