Olivia Newton-John's daughter will supply her mum with cannabis oil as she fights cancer for the second time.

Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has said her famous mum would use cannabis oil to aid in her fight against breast cancer while longtime friend John Farnham has thrown his support behind the singer.

Lattanzi owns a legal marijuana farm in Oregon with fiancé James Driskill which was reportedly started with a loan from her mum for a “fresh start”.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram to let fans know that her mum would use “other natural healing remedies” plus modern medicine in addition to cannabis oil to help her battle the deadly disease for the second time.

Lattanzi’s optimistic post read: “I want to thank all of you for your love and support. My mom (sic) and best friend is going to be fine! Cancer is the disease of our generation and it is part of my and my mother’s quest to beat this insidious monster. We both love you all, and anyone fighting this disease you can beat it. Look for natural remedies as well as what modern medicine can offer. My mom is so powerful she will beat this in no time. All my love to you. And I wish you health wealth and happiness.”

The Grease star, 68, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time after battling the disease in 1992 at the age of 43.

She underwent a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction.

Her longtime friend John Farnham said on Wednesday that she was feeling “very positive” following the diagnosis.

“I’ve spoken to Olivia in the last few days, and, as always she is very positive,” Farnham told News Corp.

“She told me she is feeling good and confident of a total healing.

‘The love and support from family and friends as well as people in general is enormous comfort to her.

“I’ve also spoken to Doctor Cebon at Olivia’s Wellness Center, and he tells me that her positivity is a great asset to her and if anyone can beat this she can.”

On Tuesday, the singer confirmed she had postponed her North American tour dates in June after learning her breast cancer had returned and spread to her back.
