It’s been a whirlwind week so far for Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and the young royals have shown no signs of slowing down in Australia.

On Friday, the young couple arrived at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach for their fifth day in Australia. Despite the overcast weather, large crowds descended on the golden sands to catch a glimpse of Harry and Meghan in the flesh.

The couple – who are big advocates for raising awareness around mental health – met with members of the OneWave surfing community. Similar to the work of the royals, the group also advocates for better mental health and wellbeing awareness.

“OneWave is a non-profit surf community tackling mental health issues with a simple recipe…saltwater, surfing, good mates and Fluro Fridays,” the organisation said on its Facebook page.

While pregnant Meghan has been spotted in some glamorous gowns so far on her Aussie adventure, she opted for a casual striped maxi-dress for her visit to the ocean. She chose a dress by Australian designer Martin Grant, while her loving husband wore a casual blue shirt and beige chinos. The pair also kicked off their shoes and were spotted feeling the sand between their toes.

As part of their visit with OneWave, the parents-to-be took part in a special Fluro Friday celebration, where people wear bright colours and creative costumes while talking about mental health. The former Suits actress wore a pink-and-yellow lei of flowers around her neck, while Harry opted for a bright blue version. They then joined a group of people on the beach where they sat on beach towels and wrapped their arms around each other in a big circle.

According to The Telegraph, the Duchess of Sussex told those at the beach that she’d been getting up at 4:30am each morning of her royal tour to practice yoga. She told them that it is “so good for healing your mind”.

In addition to discussing mental health, both Harry and Meghan also had a go at waxing a surfboard, before greeting hundreds of fans who’d arrived at the beach to meet them. It hasn’t been the only Aussie pastime Meghan has tried her hand at since arriving in the country on Monday.

Earlier in the week, she also surprised fans with her cooking skills by baking a loaf of banana bread and presenting it to farmers in Dubbo, who have been impacted by the ongoing drought. The pair have also cuddled koalas and even announced their pregnancy when they were on Australian shores. They’re next set to visit Fraser Island, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand as part of their royal tour.
