She lives in one of the most famous houses on the planet and First Lady of the United States of America Melania Trump has revealed that no expense has been spared when it comes to celebrating Christmas with the Trump’s.
Taking to her official Instagram and Twitter pages, Donald’s wife shared an incredible video of the lavish trees and decorations that have transformed the White House into a Winter Wonderland.
In the clip, the 47-year-old can be seen walking the halls between a myriad of Christmas trees and fairy lights.

The video gave a sneak-peak of the First Lady organising the incredible display and even working with chefs to create the perfect Christmas cookies! She can also be seen tying ribbons to flamboyant wreaths.
It also appears that the White House has a cosy fireplace and its own nativity scene.

“The decorations are up! @whitehouse is ready to celebrate,” she told her 9.11 million Twitter followers.
“Wishing you a Merry Christmas and joyous holiday season!”
A press release from the White House said that the First Family were paying respect to 200 years of holiday traditions at the White House with a “time-honoured” theme.

In addition to the decorations, Trump spent the day meeting children from the Joint Base Andrews military facility where she played with them and made Xmas-themed arts and crafts.

For the outing, the Slovenian-born icon wore a stunning white dress. According to her Instagram page, the children in attendance of the event described her as an “angel”.
She smiled as she enjoyed a performance by ballerinas at the elaborate event.

It is believed that more than 25,000 people will visit the White House during the Christmas season and that it will play host to over 100 open houses and receptions.
