Hollywood stars Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have one of the most successful relationships after their divorce. While married they were once the power couple of their time, their supportive relationship post-divorce is one that many in Tinsel town hope to copy.

Though Willis, 69, was married to Ghost actress Moore for 13 years, the couple who share three daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah continue to keep a close bond after both remarried.

The Hollywood star, known for hits such as Die Hard, Pulp Fiction and Moonlighting stepped away from acting in 2022 after he was diagnosed with aphasia.

Moore appeared on CNN to discuss her upcoming movie The Substance, where she opened up to British journalist Christiane Amanpour on where Willis was at after his diagnosis was updated to frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

“Given the givens, he’s in a very stable place at the moment,” she said.

“I’ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely. It’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to really meet them where they’re at, and from that place, there is such loving and joy.

“I mean, obviously it’s very difficult, and it’s not what I would wish upon anyone and there is great loss. But there is also great beauty and gifts that can come out of it.”

Since the Die Hard star stepped away from acting, Moore has continued to support Willis and his wife Emma Hemming Willis.

The Ghost star explained why it was crucial that she and Willis remained close despite their marriage ending in 2000.

“That has been very important to me, even from when Bruce and I separated and divorced, is the recognition that we’re a family and we’ll always be a family, just in a different form,” Moore said.

“And that form may evolve and change, and there is a way in which we can all be in that form.

“I’m grateful because it’s not just me. It has to require everybody to be coming together, and it’s lovely. I’m really so grateful.”
