Singing legend Barbra Streisand has shared a sweet message to friend Paul McCartney on his 83rd birthday, with a line from an iconic Beatles song.

The Don’t Rain on My Parade singer took to social media to mark the occasion by sharing a photo of the pair in a recording studio where they collaborated on a song for her upcoming album The Secret of Life Partners, Vol. Two for a cover of McCartney’s song, My Valentine.

“To Paul… Happy Birthday. Hope you’re celebrating with a little help from your friends… including me. xo Barbra,” she captioned the post.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom winner also shared the photo on her Instagram Stories with the 1967 song With a Little Help from My Friends playing in the background.

Fans of both Streisand and McCartney were delighted by the message and rushed to the comment section to post their birthday wishes.

“Happy Birthday to Paul! Another amazing masterpiece! I can’t wait for the CD!” one commented.

“Happy Birthday legend.”

“Happy birthday. Two beautiful people,” another added.

“Two handsome people. I didn’t know Paul is a Gemini. Nice!”

The birthday wishes come after McCartney delivered his own moving tribute to a fellow music legend, the late Brian Wilson.

McCartney shared the emotional tribute to Wilson, the visionary co-founder of the Beach Boys, who passed away on Wednesday, June 11, at the age of 82.

Wilson, whose genius gave the world timeless classics like Good Vibrations and God Only Knows, was remembered by McCartney in a touching message posted to Instagram.

“Brian had that mysterious sense of musical genius that made his songs so achingly special,” he began.

“The notes he heard in his head and passed to us were simple and brilliant at the same time.”

“I loved him, and was privileged to be around his bright shining light for a little while. How we will continue without Brian Wilson, ‘God Only Knows’,” McCartney continued.

“Thank you, Brian. – Paul.”
