They are both known for their charitable work, with Sophie Wessex and Sarah, Duchess of York, regularly lending their royal support to a number of good causes.
And on Tuesday the pair stepped into the shoes of London stockbrokers at the annual BGC Charity Day, which honours the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and raises money for a number of charities by moving stock on the trading floor.
Sophie, 53, looked elegant as she represented the charity Brainwave at the event, of which she is President, as she picked up the phone and tried her hand at stockbroking. And the Countess of Wessex looked like she was thoroughly enjoying the challenge.
Prince Edward’s wife’s classic dress featured a high neckline and a drop waist, which showed off her slim figure, finishing below the knee and showing off just a glimpse of leg.
The mother-of-two paired the simple yet gorgeous frock with a pair of pearl drop earrings and a pair of pointed nude court shoes. She wore her blonde locks swept back into a beautiful up-do and kept her make-up simple, with just a brush of shimmering eye shadow.

Sophie’s former sister in law the Duchess of York also turned out for the charity event, representing the charity Street Child, which recently merged with her charity Children in Crisis.
The 58-year-old ex-wife of Prince Andrew also opted for a flattering blue dress, in a similar style and shade to Sophie’s for the event, which took place at One Churchill Place.

Sarah, who retained her title of Duchess of York after she divorced the Queen’s son, is preparing for the wedding of her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, which is set to take place at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, next month.
Looking regal in blue, Fergie accessorised her frock with a black military style jacket and a pair of black patent heeled court shoes, while she wore her red hair hanging in curls over her shoulders.
A host of other stars also attended the event, including Homeland star Damian Lewis and his wife, Harry Potter and Peaky Blinders actress Helen McCrory, as well as Love Actually’s Bill Nighy and A-list megastar Tom Hardy.
The event is held every single year in honour of the BGC employees who were killed in the devastating Twin Towers attack.
