Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson has posed in a series of new photos for a Town & Country digital photoshoot.

The 61-year-old looked nothing short of royalty in the spread of photographs, posing confidently in three different outfits.

The first image showed Sarah, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, posing up a storm in a tweed coat by British designer Suzannah London and an Emily-London top hat.

In the second image the duchess was pictured standing on a wooden swing. She was dressed in a purple ruffled dress by Just Cavalli matched with a Dolce & Gabbana jacket and a pair of black boots. Sarah also opted for a new hairstyle, wearing her hair in a low bun.

The last and final image was a bit more serious, as Sarah strut a pose in a white pussy bow blouse and a striking red leather bustier by Alexander McQueen and a skintight Dolce & Gabbana skirt. She finished off the look with a Lock & Co. Hatters top hat.

It’s not clear where the photographs were taken, but the duchess appears to be in some sort of park.

In the accompanying interview, the Duchess of York opened up about her life in the spotlight and her relationship with the British press. “When they say you’re the ‘Duchess of Pork’ or you’re ‘frumpy Fergie’, you start believing it,” she revealed.

It’s no secret Sarah doesn’t have the best track record. Just months after she separated from Prince Andrew, photos emerged of the mother-of-two sun-baking topless and getting her toes sucked by American financial adviser John Bryan in France. And in 2010, the duchess was caught in a sting by the now-defunct British tabloid News of the World that showed her trying to sell access to her ex-husband for £500,000 (A$943,575).

In the same interview, Sarah also touched on not being invited to Prince William and Catherine’s fairytale wedding as a result of the News of the World scandal. “I didn’t think I was probably worthy to go to their wedding,” she admitted. “I took myself to Thailand, actually, to be far away from it so that I could try and heal.”

However, Sarah has since put the past behind her and is now on the path of self-love. “It’s a very good moment, because I’m free,” she revealed. “She’s still with me, that person who thinks she’s fat, ugly, and disgusting, and she still has to have her hair done to talk to you, but she’s now not so vocal. The truth is, I am 61 years old and I’m free of the self self-sabotaging Sarah.”
