Queen Consort Camilla’s latest fashion statement has paid a touching tribute to Queen Elizabeth, wearing one of her late mother-in-law’s stunning pieces of jewellery as she accompanied her husband, King Charles, to a state banquet in Germany.
Looking regal as ever, Camilla’s signature locks were topped with the elegant honeycomb Boucheron diamond tiara, which was also a beloved accessory of the late Queen Mother.

The royal duo made a striking entrance, but Camilla, aged 75, was certainly the center of attention, bedecked in a remarkable black evening gown adorned with silver embroidery, created by Bruce Oldfield. Her left shoulder was adorned with the Queen’s Order, a historic medal featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth.
Camilla was sure to include the Grand Cross (Special Class) of the Federal Order of Merit in her ensemble, which was awarded to her by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during her first visit to the country, alongside the Order of the Garter.
King Charles was a dashing sight in a black tuxedo adorned with the Diamond Order of the Bath Neck Order and miniature medals, his look topped off with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany 1st class sash.

“Over all these years, and in so many ways, I have been struck by the warmth of the friendship between our nations and by the vitality of our partnership,” the King said.
“Our countries are working together to promote global health, to help developing countries overcome their challenges and prosper, and to advance the urgent and vital journey towards net zero.
“And, of course, we stand side-by-side in protecting and advancing our shared democratic values. This is epitomised so clearly today as we stand together with Ukraine in defence of freedom and sovereignty in the face of unprovoked aggression.”
