Prince Harry shares unseen snap of baby Archie as he celebrates Father’s Day

Proud dad Prince Harry has delighted fans with a new snap of his beloved son Archie as he celebrates his first Father’s Day with the adorable baby.

The Duke of Sussex took to social media at the weekend to share the gorgeous photo of his first child as people across the UK paid tribute to their doting dads.

In the never-before-seen snap little Archie could be seen staring right into the camera as he holds on gently to his father Harry’s finger who is cradling him gently.

The post was simply captioned: “Happy Father’s day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to the Duke of Sussex!”

It has been weeks since the public caught a glimpse of the little bub so when the latest snap was posted on the couple’s Instagram page, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. While most just wanted to wish the new dad a happy Father’s Day others commented on the striking similarities between Harry and Archie.

“To Prince Harry and his beautiful wife duchess Meghan, I love this picture of your cute son Archie and it is so sweet to see Archie holding his dad’s hand on his first Father’s Day,” one person commented.

“Happy Fathers Day Prince Harry! It’s a long awaited deserved day. Sending a huge grin from ear-to-ear for you,” another wrote.

While a third simply said: “Oh my heart! Happy Father’s Day Harry!”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren’t the only ones to share in the celebrations of the day with Prince William posting a gorgeous snap of himself with his youngest son Louis.

The photo was one of many taken in the garden created by his wife Catherine with the two sharing a special moment in the peaceful space.

Meanwhile, the royal family also shared some throwback snaps with unseen photographs of Prince Philip with his children posted on Instagram.

The images from the duke’s younger days show Philip with each of his kids, Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward as children.

“Wishing all our followers a very happy Father’s Day!” the post read. “Both of these images were taken at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

“The first one features the duke with his eldest children, the Prince of Wales and The Princess Royal, and was taken in 1952.

“The second image was taken in 1972 and features The Duke of York and The Earl of Wessex.”
